By the end of this past week, we still had no apartment to go to and no work. We called anyone we knew to see if there was a place we could stay in temporarily.

On Saturday morning, we traveled by train to Fyn, a large island of Denmark, where we would be attending and singing at a wedding. We stayed at another friend of a friends house for the night. , Brigitte and Christopher, got married. It was a nice wedding, short, as most Danish weddings are, and quaint. Brigitte looked gorgeous, and Christopher looking charming in his traditional quilt!

The 4 people in the picture with the bald head are the people that we sang with earlier in the evening. Here they are singing a special rendition they had put together for Brigitte and Christopher. The girl in blue, Pille, has the most beautiful Alto voice. Neils sings Tenor, like David, and the other girls, Christina and Birthe, sing Soprano. They all live in København, and we have their info, so we're hoping to reconnect with them. Niels and Christina actually sing in a church in the city. We hope to see them on Sunday.

When we arrived back in Vanløse on Sunday, we realized we only had 1hr to throw everything into our bags before Kimie came to pick us up. Needless to say, living out of ones bags makes things inevitably a little disorganized! Kimie, who is the neice of David's great uncle through marriage, called a good friend of hers. Tine lives out of the city, but only 1/2hrs walk from the station. So, here we are, in a house that is set to be demolished when they get the papers figured out. It's to be demolished b/c the property was sold for new development. Tine is wonderful and we are so greatful to be able to live here! The only issue is that she smokes a LOT! So, itchy skin and dry eyes for us for a while:P

Here's a little picture of what I see when I look out the window during class. Isn't it pretty? Class was great this week. So much grammar!!! I need David to teach me cause my lack of knowledge of basic grammar is finally starting to catch up with me. I'm trying to work on speaking Danish with David (since he's the one I'm with the most). Supposedly, the main reason that people do not do well in classes is because they don't use the language with those they are with the most.

Yesterday, we went to check out another apartment. It was nice, right near the Høje Taastrup Station. And the price is reasonable. But it still seems too far outside of the city. If we ARE going to work up in Hørsholm, then it'll be a hell of ride to work every day. It's like living in Maple and taking transit all the way down to the center of TO in rush hour. It's doable, but not preferable!

Dave went into a job center yesterday where they took his resume and information. Fini, the guy Dave talked with, was really nice! There are several other agencies around the area that Dave'll check out to see if he can get some temporary work until he gets full time work. We both have an interview tomorrow at the same place in Hørsholm. It's at an international private school with children from preschool up til highschool. It would be great work! In english. Good pay.

I've noticed that I don't have too many pictures of us. I'll work on that. Neways, hope all is well with you. We'll talk with you soon:)

Heather:)
